Gordon and Adam welcome special guest, Jan Johnson, to this episode of the KidZ at Heart podcast to discuss how we can invite children to join God in the adventure of being 'on mission' and growing in compassion for the people around them.
Jan Johnson is the author of twenty-three books and more than a thousand magazine articles and Bible studies. Also a speaker, teacher and spiritual director, she lives with her husband in Simi Valley, California. She holds a D. Min. in Ignatian spirituality and spiritual direction and writes primarily about three things: spiritual formation, partnering with God in caring for the voiceless, and living with purposeful intentionality. Jan is a board member of Dallas Willard Ministries as well as a lead instructor for their cohort-based School of Kingdom Living, an "18-month immersion experience in community with fellow believers learning to ‘put on the character of Christ’ through the many facets of biblical discipleship."
